Look after your set

A few habits keep your nails and lashes looking fresh for weeks. Treat them like jewellery and they’ll last.

A volume lash set, eyes closed

Acrylic nails

  • These are jewels, not tools. Use the pads of your fingers to open cans, peel stickers and scratch labels.
  • Wear gloves for cleaning and dishes. Harsh chemicals and long soaks dull the shine and can lift the acrylic.
  • Oil your cuticles every day. A drop of cuticle oil keeps the skin around your set soft and the finish fresh.
  • Don’t pick, bite or glue. If a nail lifts or cracks, leave it alone and DM me so we can sort it.
  • Book your refill before it grows out. Refills are $10 to $20 off a new set.
  • Never peel acrylics off. It takes layers of your natural nail with it. Add a removal (+$20) to your next booking.

Lash extensions

  • Keep them dry for the first 24 hours. No steam, saunas, swimming or hot showers on your face.
  • Skip oil-based products. Oily makeup removers and eye creams break down the lash glue.
  • Brush them every morning. A clean spoolie keeps the fans fluffy and the line neat.
  • No mascara or lash curler. Your extensions already do the work.
  • Sleep on your back if you can. Squashing them into the pillow bends and twists the lashes.
  • Don’t pick or pull. Let them shed naturally and DM to book a fill.
